Farewell and Thank You
8 years in practice, it’s hard to believe I am writing this letter. The time has come for me to retire. As my time at Drs. Giardina & Glubo comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect and say thank you to all my patients that have allowed me to grow and expand my practice. Dr. Glubo and I started our practice in 1977. We had a small office at the corner of Wilkens and Beechfield Avenues.
The practice has grown over the years to three offices and a wound center, and five doctor associates.
Someone once asked me if I love what I do, I answered absolutely. I have always found satisfaction in making a difference in patients’ lives. “Patients first” has been the practice philosophy and this will continue.
I am leaving the practice in good hands moving forward. Drs. Dove, Gerstenblith and Tolley will continue with the high standards of care we strive to provide every day.
I am also happy to report that Dr. Ali Mumtaz will be joining our group starting 6/9/2025. Dr. Mumtaz is a local Marylander, raised in the Lutherville area. Dr. Mumtaz attended the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Mumtaz obtained his pediatric medical degree from Temple University School of Pediatric Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a three ye,ir pediatric surgery residency at the Baltimore VA, Baltimore, MD. He has been in private practice for the last five years and comes with a wealth of experience and will continue the high standards our practice strives to always provide.
Please Welcome Dr. Mumtaz.
While I will not be actively treating patients, I will be in the background handling administrative duties. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your health care team.
Vito N. Giardina, DPM, FACFAS
